About Loopy Twists

I’ve always had a soft spot for all things handmade. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved knitting, but it wasn’t until I watched my grandmother effortlessly crochet beautiful baby items that I felt inspired to try it myself. Just before my daughter was born — right in the middle of the pandemic — I finally picked up a hook and some yarn and started learning.

At first, I had no idea where it would lead. Then I stumbled across some adorable crochet snugglers — little characters that looked far too tricky to make, yet completely irresistible. I couldn’t stop thinking about them, so I decided to give it a go. One stitch led to another, and before long, Loopy Twists was born.

What started as a quiet hobby during long evenings quickly became a way to unwind, to create, and to connect — both with my childhood memories and with others who love handmade things. Every piece I make still carries that sense of calm and care that first drew me in.

These days, Loopy Twists is my little corner of creativity — a place where yarn turns into character, and small moments of making become something meaningful. Each snuggler is made slowly, with love, and with the hope that it brings a smile or a bit of comfort to whoever holds it.
