Polyxeni Aklidi is a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and a freelance actress based in Athens, Greece. In and all she finds the two complementary in an intriguing way.
Over the years, she has studied extensively within various and diverse yoga traditions. She has completed a few yoga teacher training programs including the Jivamukti Yoga 300hr Certification. She has organized and co-taught the 200hr Swaha Teacher Training Course in Crete in the summer of 2017.
Polyxeni has studied Architecture at Manchester University and Acting in the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece and holds a Masters Degree on Devised Theatre from Dartington College of Arts with the support of the Greek National Scholarship Institute.
Her love for yoga and performance led her to travel around the world, from Brazil to India, to the States, England and Costa Rica she has had the opportunity to connect with great teachers as well as share her knowledge and inspiration along the way. She is ever so grateful to have spent time with Prem Baba in India, Rishikesh, Tyohar in Pachamama Costa Rica and with simple people who know the ways of nature in the forests of Central Brazil.
She cherishes having the opportunity to share her yoga practice, combining asana, meditation, chanting, yogic philosophy, poetry and literature.
